Dr. Joseph Elaikwu Enegela

Dr. Joseph Elaikwu Enegela is a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, with post graduate education in Global health and infectious disease from University of Edinburgh in Scotland as well as post graduate training experience and certification from the University of Maryland Baltimore and Institute of Tropical Medicine Antwerp Belgium.
He has almost 20 years experience in HIV/AIDS programs implementation, Global health security and public health interventions as well as capacity building in Nigeria. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health and an International Fellow of the Abshire Inamori Leadership Academy at the Center of Strategic and International Studies Washington. He was among 50 Global health scientists selected by Institute of Tropical Medicine Antwerp and University of Western Cape as emerging voice for health system research and development from the global south in 2013. He has published many papers and contributed to many national guidelines and policy documents in the public health space. He is the CEO of Africa Diseases Prevention and Research Development Initiative and Executive Director of Indrap Learning Limited. He sits on the board of many companies.
